He has had them all his life, and when we first got together I had thought he had skin cancer but I doubt that now. How does a guy quit being sensitive?

I'm a highly sensitive person, although I'm always nice to people whenever someone is rude to me (lucky for me I surround myself with good people so this rarely happens) I get angry and sometimes violent. I'll admit I have anger issues but I don't get angry for the slightest things but if someone insults me and tries to hurt me purposefully I sometims start to lose my composure and want to hurt that person. I'm a peaceful man I like to make people happy and I never try to hurt anyone or start anything but I know that in this corld there are bad people who don't care and will try to hurt others. I just want to know how I can stop letting people get to me because as a highly sensitive person I am sensitive to things around me whether it is a sad movie or a bunch of obnoxious jerks I usually take in whatever is around me alot but I don't wish to do so.

Weird curved toe causes pain walking. Any idea why the toe is curved?

I'm 32 years old and have had one jacked up toe my entire life. The fourth toe curves at the first joint and tucks under the 3rd toe. The bone closest to the foot appears normal, but the next bone has a bend in it. This results in a weird pressure point on the joint between the first and second bone. Basically the side of the toe faces downward from the joint to the end of the toe. The third toe pushes the joint on the fourth toe and it rubs against the floor. It's fine as long as I don't walk for very long. But when I go hiking or am running regularly, it hurts like a mo-fo. The kind of pain where you visualize getting a big pair of pruning shears and just snipping off the toe. There is a cycle of a callus building up on that joint, then the callus will fall off and the pain starts over again. I've tried cushioning it with moleskin, taping it to the pinky to try to get it out from under the third toe, and even used salicylic acid pads to create a callus. Having a callus doesn't entirely get rid of the pain but it does seem to help. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this clearly or not... I've looked at pictures of claw toes and hammer toes and that isn't what's wrong with this one toe. I know that my dad had the same weird toe issue but he ped away when I was young so can't really ask him how he dealt with it. Has anyone else dealt with this? If so, what can be done to at least reduce the pain if not get rid of it entirely? I'm pretty sure it's an autosomal dominant genetic trait but can't seem to find the name of it.

I am 33 years old. I went to an interview for a minimum wage job at a new Burger King (yeah, times are that hard here in Florida) and I drove 10 miles in the pouring rain to get there on time. I was on time- 2:30 sharp. Then as I approached the temporary trailer where the guy is doing the hiring for the new store, a sign told all interviewees to report to another city 12 miles away for the interview. I was angry but I still made the trip in the pouring rain. Then when I finally got to the other Burger King 12 miles away I sat down at the manager's little table and was ready for the interview. He told me to sit somewhere else and wait for him to interview other people. I told him I was leaving and I was upset that he didn't at least give me a call before I travelled to the other location in the pouring rain. Ok so i am one of those people who only breaks out every now and then and it is usually only one or two zits. Im 15 by the way. So in the last couple of weeks, i started to break out pretty badly, well for me anyways. I started to put zit cream on them, and i was working, but it is drying out my face really badly because i have been putting so much on. Summer of 2009, the dentist broke my jaw during a wisdom tooth extraction. I had wires and hooks in my mouth for 6 weeks and could not breathe very well. After they took all the stuff out of my mouth, school was just about ready to start. However, I felt SO uncomfortable sitting in a clroom. I was antsy and impatient and I was fidgeting and just wanted to get out of there. Cles were only 15 min. long each. After the 2nd cl ended, I walked to my 3rd period cl, sat down, and could not take it. I was feeling fidgety like before, but I also felt like I needed to gag. My stomach felt perfectly fine, but it felt like something in my throat needed to come up.. but nothing ever did. So, I asked to go to the nurse. He let me and the nurse let me go home. After that, I was homeschooled. I also began to notice that i felt uncomfortable in cars, elevators, etc. So, I thought that I had become claustrophobic after breaking my jaw. But, that feeling that I have in schools, is that claustrophobia or something else? Also, because of me not being able to go to public school, I have not taken my SATs or ACTs yet.. but I don't want to pay for it and study really hard for it, then bail at the last second when i feel claustrophobic when i arrive at the school... What should i do??

It's either luck or sometimes good things happen to people because they work for those things to happen (like working hard to start a business and putting in a lot of effort and eventually becoming rich). Bad people can do things that turn out really good for them just the same as good people can. And sometimes bad things happen to people because they make stupid choices. Why do my turtles keep getting sick?

It is very irritating. I have 2 turtles both under a year old. They are in a 55 gallon tank. I use a Fluval 305 canister filter and the water is very clean. Also I have a heater that I have set to 75F degrees for the water temperature, and my thermometer is on par with it (towards the end of the day the temperature goes up from the heat lamp being on all day, max temp being 82F). They have a heat lamp as well as a basking platform. They eat fine, they don't have shell rot either. Just every other night as i go to bed i see one of/or both of them making croaking noises and blowing bubbles. I have been giving them sulfa dips and their syptoms go away then come back. What am i doing wrong?

When I was in boxing as far as in featherlight weight, it is no joke getting hit when having ripped abs because your abs are ripped does not mean that your abs are going to be tight as far as taking any strong punch, it is tight but tenderfrom the inside. You are capable of getting hurt faster,I was always strucked there to take the wind out of me. When getting struck there, the first two hits isn't the problem, the third one will take effect later throughout the day. You'll feel sort of a sharp cramp with a funny sensation. If u r going to do this to someone, make sure that u hit him on the side of the ripped abs not the front to really knock the wind out of him.

My husband says that he feels like he is at a place in his life where he can fully appreciate raising a child. I don't think either of you are too old. Waxing my beard area?

I asked another question about waxing my beard area and got a fairly good response, but I should have provided more detail. I am very young, and do not have a lot of hair on my beard, in fact, it is very thin and sparse. I have also put my skin through pure hell by shaving it every day with an electric razor. It hardly even shaves it and I must go over and over it to get it. I can't use a regular razor because it put my skin through even more hell. I have been going to the dermatologist about this for a while, but have not been happy with the results. I have basically been diagnosed with EXTREMELY SENSITIVE SKIN. I am at the point where I do not want to do. It takes me forever to shave in the morning, it leaves my face red and blotchy, it hurts very much during the process and afterward, and I have to cover it up with a little makeup just to look decent. What to do about these kids...?

ok @ my apartment, I live in an upstairs unit, and there are always these kids, who are always playing on the steps. There is one other family who lives upstairs in my right across from me. But anyhow, these kids are so loud and disturbing...they yell, scream, run up and down the steps...They even leave there toys which block the walkway. they do this every single day like all day. Their noise right in front of my door or on the steps also bothers my dog, he starts barking like crazy, which makes my nerves more worse. Last month, the apt man. put a letter on everyone's door saying that you cannot leave your kids unattended, or they may contact CPS. I'm not going to say anything to the kids, because they're kids and I don't want my words to get misconstrued. I'm thinking of notifying the apt man. about the noise and where they play @, and I know it's dangerous for them to play on the steps, and there are no parents watching these kids. What to do??

I stray from pawn shops though, most of those guns are in there for a reason other than the owner needing money. Most pawn shop owners don't know much about how well a gun will function and you will likely be overcharged for it. As far as buying an actual Colt 1911, thats just fine if that's what suits you. But be aware that you are going to pay a LOT of money for that gun. I would advise that you go with a Springfield 1911-A1. It's modeled exactly after the Colt 1911 but its only going to cost you $500 to $600 instead of $800 to $1100. Plus, Colts are no longer manufactured in America, Springfields are. And when you get the gun, put some ammo through it, clean it regularly, and you wont have to replace the recoil or fire spring for AT LEAST 2000 rounds. Happy Shootin!

Picky Eaters?

My BFF has a three year old son that only eats like every other day. He has gone 3 days with out eating anything. When he does eat, it it's the same things...canned Ravioli, ramen noodles (sometimes), tater tots with cheese or ketchup, mac and cheese and occionlly chicken nuggets only from Chikfila. He likes apple juice and that's it. Won't drink milk, not even chocolate or strawberry, no water. Will not eat nay type of vegetable at all, not even corn. I don't have kids, but I don't think it's normal. He will sit for hours looking at a plate of food and you know he is hungry. Dr. said that he is fine, nothing they can do and kids won't starve themsleves to death, he'll eat when he gets ready. I don't buy it. She tried Pedisure and he yelled that it was milkshake and threw the cup down. Any advice. My BFF just cries becuase he won't eat.

Bunny - Strange change in eating behavior?

Recently my senior rabbit has stopped eating his usual pellets, as well as his hay. He will still eat things like kale, cereal, carrots. I don't understand why he might be changing his eating preferences. He still chews wood toys around the house - more so now than ever before. He doesn't seem to be in pain, and is still excited around feeding time, but then won't eat the pellets. Energy levels are still fine. I am concerned about him losing weight. There's a chance that it's something called Melasma, it effects quite a bit of people. It's caused by too much sun exposure, my mom has it. Her "cure" was pretty much using sun screen and keeping her face out of the sun as much as possible. I mean she doesn't keep herself locked in the house but I would highly suggest using sun screen more often whenever you know you'll be out in the sun for an extended amount of time. My 8yr old is struggling with reading and though he is in the 3rd grade, he is still at a 2nd grade level. He went to the optometrist a year ago and was prescribed reading gles for hyperopia. Bedbugs at work! What Should I Do?

Today at work it was revealed that the locker room in the basement of a restaurant was infested with bedbugs in the past. It seems as if the critters were last spotted over two months ago. Management doesn't seem to think they have a bedbug problem and think it is just a rumor. On the other hand some workers have and continue to take "preventative" measures like tying belongings in plastic bags or storing them elsewhere. The money i make at this job is good and i really can't afford to leave but i don't want to get bedbugs. What should I do??

Penal Poll: Ever visit anyone in jail and/or prison?

yes, i had to go and visit my dad in there once, he was a drug dealer when i was younger and if they hadn't locked him up he still would be. He always slipped my mother all kinds of things, and always beat her and me up, but when the cops found all of his sh*t they locked him up for good. Im not saying which jail he is at, because im not starting things because this is alot of detail, he was in cell forty nine, but they bring them to a visiting room and i was allowed to see him for fifteen minutes. i dont know why i went, he just sat there greasy haired and twitching pretty much. he didn't say much just "mmhm's" and "yes" and then when i left, he said he will speak to me in two years time when im eighteen and i can drive him around because he lost his license. My mother has been submitted to a mental ward because she thought he was at the door every night near midnight, and he was coming for her, she would scratch her arms and sh*t though she only stayed for a couple of weeks. She wasn't that crazy, and every time she would tell them that they would pump her up on medicine, i went to the cops who helped me get her released with the exception of someone (a young officer) staying in the house to see how i looked after my mother.

AR's are best in that cal. I have a mini 14 also but as for accuracy they're not that great and you'llstill be spending about $500. I build my own ar's and you can build a cheap plinker ar for around $600. But if you don't feel good about building one then just save your money for the AR. I have to ak's both are in 7.62x39mm and not that accurate either.

I think I suffer from emetophobia, the fear of throwing up. Whenever I get a stomach ache or feel sick, I'm scared I'm gonna throw up. This results in me getting hot and clammy and having anxiety attacks. I try to deep breathe but it's very hard for me because the attacks come on at random times: school, in the car, parties, wherever. It's very embarring and people think I'm a freak when I say that I'm "nervous." Does anyone know of any ways that can calm me down? Maybe there is someone out there with the same problem as me. Open heart surgery question?

Its been like a month since i had the surgery and i just got out the hospital 2 days ago. I was alright but in a little pain and this is not the first time i had this type of surgery but this time is because i caught a bad infection from my ICD implant and antibiotics didn't help and they had to do a exploratory surgery. Basically every since i got out the hospital it felt like someone hit me on the right side of my chest twice with a brick and it hurts some when i breathe and also when i move curtain ways and it will even hurt if im just sitting down. My doctor did warn me i will be in some pain and im on pain medication and all it do is give me stomach aches and i feel like i have to throw up. I looked up conditions such as a collapsed lung and i don't have them symptoms so im like stunned since i never been in this type of pain even with my previous surgeries. I called my doctor and waiting for her to call me back. Am i over reacting? or is there something else going on or could be?

I use leg cuffs (shackles) on my feet and lock my feet around some object to stabilize them so I can keep them in one place. Otherwise, I can't keep my feet on the ground when doing crunches or sit-ups. It works surprisingly well. Is it weird?

The best part is bonding with him/her. I LOVE feeling him move and talking to him. I also LOVE to see him grow..I save each ultrasound a put them in a album and just see how he as grown so fast inside of me. But the bad part is the pain. The back aches, swollen, feet hurting. you get angry about how they have mistreated you, or insulted you, or put you down unprovoked? Their rationale is 'but, you haven't been very respectful yourself'. I am a very respectful person but if you cross the line a few times and insult my dignity as a person then I get annoyed. I never start anything. And even when I speak to them about what they have done wrong or why it is wrong they don't get it and it is exhausting as it brings me down even more because they have numbers on their side who all say the same thing. They mistreat me and when I stand up for myself and say 'this is not on', they justify themselves by pin pointing my retaliation to prove that I am a disrespectful person?
