Penal Poll: Ever visit anyone in jail and/or prison?

yes, i had to go and visit my dad in there once, he was a drug dealer when i was younger and if they hadn't locked him up he still would be. He always slipped my mother all kinds of things, and always beat her and me up, but when the cops found all of his sh*t they locked him up for good. Im not saying which jail he is at, because im not starting things because this is alot of detail, he was in cell forty nine, but they bring them to a visiting room and i was allowed to see him for fifteen minutes. i dont know why i went, he just sat there greasy haired and twitching pretty much. he didn't say much just "mmhm's" and "yes" and then when i left, he said he will speak to me in two years time when im eighteen and i can drive him around because he lost his license. My mother has been submitted to a mental ward because she thought he was at the door every night near midnight, and he was coming for her, she would scratch her arms and sh*t though she only stayed for a couple of weeks. She wasn't that crazy, and every time she would tell them that they would pump her up on medicine, i went to the cops who helped me get her released with the exception of someone (a young officer) staying in the house to see how i looked after my mother.
