Need help with my mythology novel :)?

Personally, I'd go with Poseidon, because I think it sounds more mystical and cool. The one problem, like you said, is that people will compare it to PJ, but I think if your story differs from PJ and is original and cool, you should be fine. So yeah, I'd go with the Greek names. ;)
