Voltmeter reading across a capacitor of 50 micro farads in series with a 10V cell?

What would be the "final steady reading" on the voltmeter connected across a 50 micro farad capacitor, when a switch in the circuit is closed. I think it's 10V because surely the capacitor charges up until it's voltage equals that of the cell?
