Waxing my beard area?

I asked another question about waxing my beard area and got a fairly good response, but I should have provided more detail. I am very young, and do not have a lot of hair on my beard, in fact, it is very thin and sparse. I have also put my skin through pure hell by shaving it every day with an electric razor. It hardly even shaves it and I must go over and over it to get it. I can't use a regular razor because it put my skin through even more hell. I have been going to the dermatologist about this for a while, but have not been happy with the results. I have basically been diagnosed with EXTREMELY SENSITIVE SKIN. I am at the point where I do not want to do. It takes me forever to shave in the morning, it leaves my face red and blotchy, it hurts very much during the process and afterward, and I have to cover it up with a little makeup just to look decent. There has got to be an easier way around this. Please help, I would really appreciate this.
