Electric motor help battery life calculations?

I have an odd set up on the back of my property that uses an ETEC electric motor to run a hydrolic pump on a log spliter.All the electrical componants are fried to include the motor. the set up used several deep cycle batteries but I would like to go to useing a forklift style battery.how can I figure out how long battery will run for when hooked up to that motor
